I am looking for any info on this cue,who is Jim Story did he work for Viking or was he the winner of the 8-ball championship in 1977,also was this a trophy cue and how many may have been made and a possible $$ value.The shaft is still a full 13mm and has seen very little play in its life time and is a super solid hitter,,Thanks and any info is greatly appreciated.

1977 Viking presentation cue

The cue is a collectable, but apparently Presentation Cues (with names and dates) are not. I don't know of many cues that have something written on them (not cuemakers signatures) that increase in value, obvious exceptions are very famous people and players names or famous cuemakers presentation cues. IMHO
