I am in Dallas right now, just got here. I have set up shop in Rowlett and I am doing cue repairs, cue orders, lessons and starting to play again. Greenville has been a great city to live in but the pool part is very slow and no action. I am playing on the APA masters at Legends Bar at 1146 Belt Line Rd. in Garland. on Thursday night. I will be looking at all the rooms here in Dallas/Ft Worth, there's are a ton. Playing feels great and I have really missed it. Dallas has more players than I have been around for 20 years. Hope to meet a lot of new people and play a lot of pool and do a lot of work. I love teaching because it has always improved my game as well. I have some new cues with me and plenty of the Anvil, Grim Reapers and Orange Crushers. Can't wait to get started again, I love pool.
 
Congratulations on the move and I wish you much success. Remember seeing you play at the Golden Cue in Melbourne Florida back in the 80s. You played awesome and I knew you would be a great player.

Hey if you think Dallas has a bunch of pool halls, take the 3 hour ride south to Houston when you get a chance. Theres lots of opportunities to teach and play, a pool hall on every other coner. Would love to see you make a few of the tourny's... good luck!
 
Congratulations Mike, I was raised in the DFW area... great place. I have a brother in Frisco, so I'll come see ya when I'm in town...
 
Mikey - Ill be in Dallas the second weekend of December - Volcanos - from December 8th - 11th. Would love to see you.

Looks like it'll get a little more crowded at the top, that's a good thing. You've got the equipment, and the game, like Stroud, tho, gotta get the game back to speed. Best to ya on your relocation, great hotbead of action down there.
 
DAMN!!! Best of luck to you, Mike! A lot of people up here will miss you, though. Have you made the move or just looking around? I know just what you mean about the pool situation.
Any chance you'll be at the Open?
