I say Shane. He breaks them to consitanly, and the rest of his game is "World Class". But Alex is realy one of the best. I think we fans of pool are the real winners in this.

First of all I want to say to Justin and TAR, what amazing production quality on that video. You all have stepped up big in the last year. You went from good to superior in such a short amount of time. The emotion you created with that video made me feel like I was getting ready to watch a heavy weight bout between two of the greatest boxers of all time. Superb.
I also wanted to say how thrilled I am to see that you have announced Billy Incardona and Jay Helfert for the commentators in this match. This really puts TAR 21 on the must see list for anyone who was on the fence. Not only are the players two of the best gamblers of our time, but the commentary will be second to none as well.
As for who will win this match... If I was a gambler I would be taking some weight on Alex on this one. I still can't believe people are getting Alex 90-100 after the last performance. Although, with SVB coming off his recent win at the Mizerak tournament he may be able handle this spot.
Regardless of who wins, I am excited for this epic re-match. If you have never seen a TAR production before, this is one to pay the meager dollars to see. You won't be disappointed.

My pick is Alex. The match should be very close. I think that the very tight pockets makes it quite a bit harder to make a ball on the break and that it will reduce the importance of Shane's breaking advantage. I suspect that the tight pockets will also mean fewer runouts and more safety play, and the more tactical the match becomes, the more it will favor Pagulayan.

Totally agree, it will come down to decision making (shot or safe selection) tactics, and nerves over sheer firepower.
That sounds suspiciously like a 'no comment'.I have to like Shane who is having a career year. But Alex ain't doing to shabby this year also, with multiple top 3-5 finishes, including some wins. Crazy things seem to happen when Shane and Alex get together, so I will be sitting this one out, sweating it alongside my bud Billy Cardone.
Just one more thing to add.
This match is really important. It is being played on a neutral table on neutral grounds. As far as I'm concerned, it will decide who is the best 10 ball player.
Anywhere, Anytime up to now, in the World.
Whoever wins this, in my opinion, is the best 10 ball player and all else are just contenders.
Not Yang, or Orcullo, or Lee Van or Bustamante or Wu - they are all contenders because it is only Alex and Shane who stepped up on TAR.
That sounds suspiciously like a 'no comment'.
You can't do that, Jay....
..you got a job to do this match....
