Hi,

Yesterday Geoff Dilley the Shaft Guy came to my shop to learn to run my doweling machine as he is purchasing one for his operations. I live in Palatine, Il and Geoff live in Rockford, Il. so I invited him over to cut some dowels.

While he was here he cut hundreds of 1" dowels and was very organized in his collation process between Core, 2A and 3A grade shaft blanks. The wood he has it superior quality and 99% of the 30" X 1 dowels I weighed between 10 and 11 oz. In my control processes that works out to be all over 4 oz shafts on my shaft geometry with a 13 mm tip size.

Geoff is a very serious guy and all business.

I wish him all the success in his business and I know he will be great in customer service to our industry. Character is what this guy is all about.

Ok, tell us the truth Rick, this was a paid endorsement, and you got all of his good shaft wood for it, right?

I never thought Geoff was nice, I thought he was reasonable....that didn't last long at all.

Rick, on the otherhand, went out of his way to answer my questions on the phone. Rick is a super nice guy.

As for Geof:kma:
