Not one I own, asking for another individual. Here's what I know:
Has a brass "pointed sytle" pin. only markings i could see were the ones in the pic's near the joint, and I couldnt make it out myself. Cue construction looked pretty good. real wood in the butt selve area. nice shaft /ferrel nothing unusual accept the eagles, and looks to me like maybe this was a "Windowed" cue that has lost the window part? I dunno? He said it was his uncles, and doesnt know anything about it. Can anyone assist him:grin: please?

Some where in the 70's. Thanks for all your assistance! :D

I really like this Mali Model, the cue is a Model 95 and it was being being produced by mail in the late 1970's until around 1983. I have the original catalog from Mali that shows this model, and what most do not know is that Palmer Billiards Corporation also sold other brand cues in addition to the Palmer Customs.

This cue was one of the models that was sold by Palmer, below is the price list from Palmer and the Catalog from Mali. This cue originally sold for $95, they also sold extra shafts for these cues and they cost $32.50 per shaft.

Model #17

Bringing this one back because i have a chance at the #17 model on the left of the first catalog. Ballpark value anyone? Decent shape, some wear on the joint, ferrule. Thx

I have the same cue pictured in this thread. I was told it was a Mali when I bought it, but someone else who bought a bunch of Paradise and Palmer parts from their shop said he is certain that cue is a Palmer. I wish someone could clear that up for me.

It's a Mali. 100%. :)

Even the posted Palmer price list calls it a Mali.

If some parts were obtained from the Palmer shop for these they were likely for repairs/service I would guess.

I have a fairly minty Mali with that sticker that I can't find in the catalogs.

Would love to ID the model.

Snagged it

Mine now! Not so minty as chopdocs, but man straight from the eighties! Rosewood is outstanding, especially the figured stuff near the butt end, holographic almost in the light

That's some nice wood in that cue. And it does look to be in nice condition.

Just goes to show what you can find in some of these lower end production cues from those times.

Very nice example. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
