I have 2 cues that are in nice shape but not perfect with a few issues, finish is very good on both with not any dings or dents worth noting. I try to give good descriptions on condition of stuff I sell, I do not want to waste your time nor mine so please ask questions also. All shafts are 12.7-13mm but will get exact measurements for those who want them, my micrometer is at the pool room.
The Masonh is a very nice full splice cue with one shaft, I am unsure of the exact woods, perhaps Mr. Mason can stop by and let us know. Cue was made in 2008 and has a micarta ferrule, not sure of the tip, possibly a moori, you be the judge by the pics. It hits super solid, 3/8-11 brass pin, cue is not cored I believe and put together weighs 18.4 ounces, shaft by itself is 3.7 ounces. This cue does have a very slight lift by the joint, could be that the silver rings have come through the finish a bit, tip does not leave the table when rolled, shoots straighter then you.
The Crown cue is a very nice piece of curly maple, 3/8-10 pin, has 2 shafts, weighs 18.2 ounces put together and both shafts are at 3.8 ounces, one maple and the other birds eye maple, I know for sure the one tip is a Kamui black medium and the other I believe is also, its my tip of choice. This cue was sent out around the country and about 20 people tried it out before it was sent back to Crown for a refinish. The cue on a scale of 1-10 was given ratings of 8's and 9's by those who got to test it out so its a nice cue, softer hit then the Masonh though, very nice balance. Shafts roll straight but the butt has a lift when rolled about 3 inches from the joint but cue is still very playable even with the lift, the tip does lift some.
I am looking for cash or trade offers, I like cues with points. Electronics are cool too, PS3 for one of the cues or a laptop with an i7 processor will get both cues, these 2 items are on my list of things I want but feel free to send other offers. If you got a nice cue then maybe I will make a deal and you can have both of these cues. They are built to be played and hate to have them just sitting in my case. I am posting the first pic which showcases the whole Masonh cue when it is was being built so you can see wood combination better then my full cue pics which make it look darker then it really is even though the wood has darkened a little since new as would be expected, it is the 2nd to last cue on the right. Thanks for looking.
Mason is SOLD. Crown is SOLD.
