My new cue

Here is my new Jensen players cue. I just received it yesterday. Hits the balls sweet.

radial pin- nice... all my jensen's have been 3/8-10... he makes a solid hitting cue.. i've had a couple and bought a plain jane maple for a buddy of mine on my league and it really has improved his game... I still have a titlist coversion from Mike i play with....you'll be happy with it I'm sure!

How do Jensens hit? Do they hit soft or hard? I have a liking for stiff-hitting cues, just trying to find out more before I pull out my wallet....:D
 
Gorgeous cue bud! Very similar to my first Jensen in my sig. (mine had the SS joint an silver rings though.)

Did he put on the wrap? I am looking for a wrap JUST like yours!

On average, I'd say Medium hit. Really depends on the joint selected and materials in the cue. All ebony, SS joint, ivory ferrules will be one darn hard hitting cue.

He often uses either 5/16x14, or 3/8x10 with a BEM forearm and exotic wood points. Both play nice and have a medium solid hit. He also does a lot of fancier stuff too.

If you ever played with a schon, that will give you an IDEA of what it plays like. Jensens play much better than any schon I have ever picked up, and I do like schons.

Haven't played with his radial yet, but I hear they play REAL nice....

Thanks for the tips. Although I'd very much like to compare it to an Olney cause I love the hit, I would like to try something different such as a Jensen....

Mike did do the wrap. When I first got the cue it had black linen wrap. I really didnt like it so I sent back to have black lizard wrap instead.
