About that, you're right. Wheel moves alone, as shown on video "Handwheel turns alone" on my gallery of videos.
But I don't know at all how to adjust the "gib" (what's a "gib" ... translation tools isn't perfect!
There is a little hole I can use a tool inside to tight, but that has no effect.
Unmounting that part, I discover that there was numbered grids that comes invisible when remounting the wheel. (only grids are visible, numbers become hidden. that's sad).
I need to know how to "tight" that wheel so it's stop turning down.
Hope Bassel's will go out of his bed soon to help! :boring2: (about 6 hours of difference between Swiss and Michigan

Despite your complete unprofessional and totally out of line approach by posting bits and pieces of our emails back and fourth, twisting the truth and playing the victim roll.
Let's set couple of the ground rules. You could have posted the you bought a tool box lll with out disclosing any of the special prices or breaks that I gave you due to your limited budget, and then you go on and describe a tool box ll, when I emails you may pictures of the tool box lll and I said that the tool box ll is no longer available. You knew what you were getting and you know that the lathe does not do house cues either, I was upfront about everything, and for you to assume that the lathe is ready to ship as soon as you pay, was very typical. Those are custom made machines, you new that too.
I sent you all the picture of the tool box lll, and you never insiuated anything about house cues.
The only thing missing from you package is a foot pedal, due to being out of stock.
The five holders you were suppose to get are
2 regular holders (which you got)
1 boring bar holder ( only available with premium tooling with you opted out off)
1 cut off tool holder ( only available with premium tooling with you opted out off)
1 tailstock attachment holder ( you got)
1 tip trimming tool holder (you got)
1 tip positioning tool ( you got)
Cut off tool ( you got it too, but not the QCTP one)
The issue here is that you are asking for the missing parts which apparently have no idea what they are, cause if you did know, then you would have realized that you already got them. Besides asking for the shaft cleaning setup, and if you didn't know hat the other parts are for, you should have asked me first, instead.
Well that covers the so called missing parts.
As for your slide being too lose, I will be kind enough, despite all the false accusation you posted, to post a you-tube video on how to adjust the slide gib, as for the backlash, well they all have that.
Lastly I watched couple of you videos when you were trying to trim a black fenolic ferrel with a BORING bar( I am surprised it even cut anything at all) instead of a right/left hand cutter, which was also included with your tooling.
So far everything I see is just an inexperienced guy trying to do cue repair, and blaming the lathe for your lack of knowledge on how to use it.
I was unavailable for couple of days and you post all this stuff. If you really needed to get a hold of me, you could have called me on my cell or even Skype video call which I offered you from day 1 with my screen name so you can call me if needed.
FYI: I am fluent in Arabic too, and can understand some French, but you chose to do this instead.
You totally jumped the gun. I will try to help you as amuck as I can, but you need to learn the basics of cue repair and the use of proper cutter for the proper applications.
PS: The Tool Box lll with Tompson rods setup has the highest precision cutting capability than any toolbox or a standard dovetail repair lathe I have ever made, it is a total shame that you can't see that and that's all due to the improper use of the machine
