General Use of the Wei Table
The WEI TABLE is a way we can see what someone is describing on a virtual pool table. This table can be used here on AZBilliards and embedded in posts. For example:
This is the result of some code that looks like this:
START(%Pi9O7%eB4a4)END
Take the table above and re-arrange a few of the balls. Hit the rectangle that says "copy" and a code similar to the above will be copied to your computer's clipboard. Paste it into a text editor (NotePad, an email - whatever) to see it.
To see how paste works, select the blue text and copy it to your clipboard (ctrl-c on a PC, cmd-c on a Mac):
START(%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%H M7N8%IL7O4%JK6M5%KJ5P7%LJ5N2%MK6Q4%NJ5R0%OJ5M0%Ph9 O6)END
Now scroll up and click "paste." You'll be asked once or twice if you'd like to paste the data - click "OK" to paste it.
Using the vBCode for the Wei Table
This forum allows you to embed the Wei table in your posts. To do so, follow these instructions:
Default Codes
Here are a list of default codes should you need to generate some basic tables or re-set them after you accidentally move some objects.
Empty Table:
START(%Pi9O7%eB4a4)END
Full Rack:
START(%AN7O5%BL7P8%CJ5O4%DL7N1%EM7P1%FK6P1%GK6N8%H M7N8%IL7O4%JK6M5%KJ5P7%LJ5N2%MK6Q4%NJ5R0%OJ5M0%Ph9 O6)END
9-ball rack:
START(%AO0O5%BJ7O7%CK7O0%DK8P3%EM9P2%FM9N8%GL9P8%H L8N2%IL8O6%Ph9O6%eB4a4)END
Additional Notes
This is largely Donovan's idea, so I take no credit for thinking to write this post and to stick it. I implemented the table, Donovan suggested this stuck thread.
I've closed this thread, too, as this site already has separate forums for troubleshooting, testing, getting support, etc. Please make use of those forums. I will update this post to add more default tables, better information, etc. as necessary.

Using the vBCode for the Wei Table
This forum allows you to embed the Wei table in your posts. To do so, follow these instructions:
- Visit the Wei table and arrange the balls, arrows, etc. to your liking.
- Hit "copy" to copy the code to your clipboard.
- Type [wei], hit paste (ctrl-v/cmd-v), then type [/wei] in the message entry text box.
- Remove any carriage returns (line breaks) in the code. These can cause problems. In the end, everything from [wei] to [/wei] should be one big line (which will wrap - but that's fine).
- That's it!
