Maybe a lot different!
I wanted to have Troy at TNT build a truely unique cue that had the quality components a pool player wants. When we got it started it appeared that I was the only one who thought this cue would look good when complete. We dubbed it "the ugly duckling" and that was how it was referred to until it was almost done. Eventually even Troy had to admit it was starting to look good. Once the wrap was installed it officially lost the ugly duckling moniker.....you may disagree
So here is the detail on this cue:
Fully spliced ebony into ebony (there are actually 4 ebony points but I think you would need a magnifying glass to see them) with an additional splice of grey stained birdseye. The joint is also birdseye and the inlays are turquoise. The wrap is grey embossed leather in a lizard pattern. The pin is a black 3/8-10 G-10. The ferrule is black with a blue fiber pad under the Kamui Black Super Soft tip. The shaft is grey stained maple.
Butt weighs 13.6oz
Shaft weighs 4.1oz and the tip is approx 13.2mm
I think were gonna tweak it a bit by adding a weightbolt and/or mounting the bumper into the butt about 1/2 way. If someone prefers a lighter cue, we'll skip the weightbolt.
