Hello all. I decided to sell some cues to thin out the herd. I have 2 separate batches of 6 cues: 1 w/cues above $1500 and the other less than $1500. I would like to sell one or two in each batch if possible. I think they are priced right and all nice cues. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about these cues.

Thanks for looking – All prices include shipping in CONUS.

Higher-end Cues

1) Harvey Martin - $2500 *I don’t really want to sell this but if that’s what will sell…
Butt 15.48oz: ivory joint, original leather wrap, engraved Martin Cue 1968…in ring
Shaft 1 (BRP): 3.3oz 12.1mm just under the ferrule, 13mm 6-7” below ferrule
Shaft 2 (RYjr): 3.52oz 12.4mm just under the ferrule, 13mm 6-7” below ferrule
Both have ivory ferrules

2) Josswest 2000 - 3/18/12 - Newly refinished w/a smooth black leather wrap installed - pictures available upon request - Sold
Butt 15.55oz; flat-face Radial Pin; Ivory Butt Cap with JW logo; Leather Wrap by Jimmy Reeves of Reeves Custom Cues.
Original Shaft 1 3.75oz and 12.99mm – ivory ferrule & Kamui med
Original Shaft 2 3.70oz and 12.60mm - ivory ferrule & Kamui med
- Shaft measurements were taken about 1" below the ferrule

3) James White - SOLD
Very rare wrapless full splice made entirely by Jim...including the blank. Points, handle and sleeve are one piece and is made from curly purpleheart. This is spliced into straight grain maple. The points feature ivory notched diamonds and ivory dots at the base of the points. The butt sleeve features ivory notched diamonds and dots. The joint is flat-face sleeved ivory w/ 3/8-10 pin. Ring work is all maple Szamboti style stitch. One matching shaft.

Butt: 29", 15oz
Shaft: 4oz, 13.03mm, ivory ferrule

4) Kikel – (Collectable because of the ferrules) - SOLD

BUTT: 14.9oz; 8 point, 4 veneers; textured leather wrap; 68 ivory inlays; joint 5/16 14 pin, black phenolic
Shafts: both at 3.8oz
Ferrules: 13mm w/Kamui medium on both shafts with impregnated maple ferrules (Dave tried to get patent on this technique, but it took too long and it was too much work to recoup his money).

5) Tad - Sold
Butt 14.2oz; Ebony hoppe style points w/4 veneers & Hoppe ring; flat-faced w/the big pin (3/8-12); made in 2004 for J&J since they are the only ones that carry this particular joint style - they currently sell it for $4000 but it sold for $3500 when I bought it about 2 years ago.

Both shafts come in at 4.575oz (perfectly matched) and are full sized shafts so total weight is around 18.7oz and very well balanced.

6) Ariel Carmeli - Sold
Butt 15.1oz, signed by Ariel 1-11; leather wrap, too many inlays to count, but very colorful abalone is inlayed in the ivory in majority of the cue. 8-points (long-Ebony and short-snakewood) very classy cue.
Shaft 1 3.65oz 12.9mm
Shaft 2 3.54oz 12.8mm

Thanks, Dave

Middle-tier Cues

1) Richard Harris - Sold
Butt: 15.13 oz; nice black w/brown spec linen wrap; brass 3/8-11 pin; and rings in all locations except for A location.

Shaft1: 3.71oz; 12.7mm 6" down the shaft but is 12.2mm at tip w/ a steady parabolic taper; Old Micarta ferrule; moori med tip; and this shaft hits so solid you won't believe it. Great player. Straight

Shaft2: 3.66oz; 12.54mm @ tip and 12.68mm 6" down; some phenolic ferrule; milk dud tip I installed (excuse the non perfect job); this is the shaft I use for 1-pocket because it plays a little softer than the monster shaft. (might have a slight taper roll)

2) Tim Scruggs - Sold
1998 Tim Scruggs, excellent condition. 15oz butt, 3.8oz shaft. 13mm melamine ferrule.

3) Mike Webb - Sold
Butt 15.35oz; Titlist conversion (not sure of wood in points); smooth leather wrap; ivory hoppe ring, piloted 5/16x14 joint. Excellent condition
2 shafts 3.85oz; ivory ferrules; I "think" triangle tips.

4) Great playing/looking Mutt cue :): John Davis blank; originally made into a wrapless w/knuckles showing by Guido Orlandi w/1 shaft; Joe (bamacues) had Cory Barnhart find a matching lacewood sleeve, add an ivory hoppe ring, his finish and a nice all black linen wrap; Ernie Martinez made an additional shaft to my specs. - traded

Butt 15oz; Lacewood points and buttsleeve w/ivory Hoppe ring; double black linen wrap. Was my player for about 1 ½ years.

Both shafts around 12.6mm and weigh around 3.65oz. You will see the Ernie shaft, cause it’s has bluing and ¾” ferrule. Ernie’s shaft has a moori med, not sure of the other one.

5) Ariel Carmeli Tad tribute cue - Sold
Butt 15.25oz; BEM forearm/buttsleeve; upgraded textured leather wrap; Tad tribute ring set; flat-face w/3/8-10 pin
Shaft 1: 3.76oz; 13mm; Linen phenolic ferrule w/tiger med tip
Shaft 2: 3.65oz; 12.9mm; Linen phenolic ferrule w/tiger med tip

There will be very few of this design ever made again. This cue plays better than 90% of the maple cues out there!

The retail for this cue is $1170 before upgraded wrap & tips.

6) Fancy “G” cue made by Andy Gilbert in his early years. Fanciest cue he made in his 1st 18 months of making cues (collectable). - Sold
Butt 14.65oz w/6-cocobolo points w/unique oval ivory inlays w/black dot into BEM forearm; buttsleeve is ebony, cocobolo, and many unique ivory inlays; New black w/white spec linen wrap; piloted stainless 5/16-14 joint; and the old 'G' signature logo. Recently refinished by Andy.

Shafts are 3.7oz each and could use a cleaning.
Shaft 1 (original): 12.7mm w/fiber ferrule;
Shaft 2: 12.55mm, w/maybe a buckhorn ferrule because it's very dirty looking, but not sure.

Not to mention the Kikel, Martin, Tad, Josswest, Scruggs, and Mike Webb Hoppe, but I especially like the Mutt Cue.
Is a "great playing / looking" Mutt Cue the maker or an oxymoron?

All very nice, but that JMW is sick!!

Thanks for the nice words HFB and bump.

I acquired this cue from our own Simon (thediamond). He was selling it for $1750 firm or a trade for $2000 worth of cases. This cue is awesome in look, balance, feel and playability - just what you expect from JMW. You have a good eye. Much of what is written in the description came from Simon. If I had the guts to thin the shaft down the way I like it it would have been my everyday player, but I chose just to look at it from time to time .

The Scruggs & Webb are sold pending payments. Thank you! Plenty more nice cues, feel free to browse :).

Hey Dave
Very nice batch of cues your selling there sir. I didn`t think the Scruggs or the Webb would last long at all, and they didn`t. That Webb is a beauty for sure. GL with your sale sir.

Thanks Jeff. Because of those unexpected expenses, I put out a bunch of cues I had no intention of selling to get some quick action, those were two. I hope to sell 1 or 2 of the higher end cues, that would get me over the hump for a while.

Please continue browsing :).
