I have tried in vain to get room owners in my area to move away from the bar model.

Well let's face it, most are bars with pool tables in them now. Ownership can't see 3 feet past the bar. just look around Texas and the condition of most of the tables. They are awful!! hardly any pride of ownership whatsoever!
The bar is neat and clean though!!
