I have a rare vintage M&F custom cue for sale.
The cue is the product of a very short-lived partnership between Karl Meyer and Mike Fedunka... I've been looking for almost 10 years and still haven't
seen another with the stamped band to prove it.
Everything is original, and from what I understand, a lot of Paradise and Palmer went into this. It absolutely screams vintage New Jersey.
Full splice ebony into straight-grain maple blank with black, red, green, and natural veneers. Extended linen wrap. Sectioned pearl butt sleeve with clear plastic window and personalized metallic foil band. Band reads, "S.A.T." In large print and "M&F Cues Elizabeth N.J." In small print.
Joint - 5/16x18 piloted ss
Butt - 28.5"/15.6 oz
Shaft. 1- 28.5"/ 3.6 oz/ less than 12 mm/ rolls straight
Shaft 2 - 28.5"/ 3.8 oz/ less than 12 mm/ rolls straight
The cue does have some condition issues:
1.) The finish on the forearm has worn in places, the point/veneer work isn't the best, and there are several nicks, dings, and scratches.
2.) There is a roll in the butt about 8 inches up from the back-end of the cue. It causes the butt cap to lift a little less than 1/8". The tip and joint do not leave the table.
3.) The plastic window needs to be re-glued, but it is held securely in place by the pressure from the weight bolt. Also, the foil band appears to have ripped slightly during its application.
4.) The shafts are thin, but I'm pretty sure that's how they were ordered... I'm only the second owner.
SOLD ... US only... Postal money order only.
Thanks for looking
