I bought this cue from the original owner.
He quit playing about 30-years ago and finally decided to sell it.
Laurie's letter says it is either Goncalo Alves or Jatoba, North American fiddleback handle

Love this cue!!!! Wondering the $$$$$$$ value on this treasure? Must hit great!!!

from the original owner...untouched....WOW...bet ya STOLE it for a song!

When I saw the condition I got caught up in the moment, and a mutual friend told others about the cue.
The owner is happy.
He recommended that I change the tips...:)

that is definitely one that didn't get away. Great cue!!! tell us more about the specs of the cue..

The weight according to the LOA from Laurie says 20.75 oz., but I have it a little heavier.
58"
The shafts look to be 13mm (3.7 & 3.8 oz.) but it's hard to tell when your digital calipers need a battery.

I know the cue is heavy, but I have an ebony South West that's over 20 oz, and it plays fine.

Nice pick up, Ted. You must have eyes and ears everywhere!

Dave

Thanks Dave.
It works both ways.
Having eye's and ears everywhere in my case just means that people know where to find me.
Every once and a while the two worlds collide and I pick up a nice cue.

Great one Ted

I know all about the one that got away, lol, this was mine I had for over 30 years. It looks much better at Cornerstone after David cleaned it up. Don't let Will see it Ted, he will cry. Congrats.

Have you tried politely asking for it back?
