This cue belongs to a friend of mine. It is well made but has no markings at all. Thanks for any help.

It's a common weight bolt and bumper combination.

What is the thread on that pin?

Can we see the joint rings closer?

Several names come to mind but nothing specific yet.

Picture of joint added 5/16-14 pin

He did not say anything about selling it just trying to find out who made it.

Is he selling????? :)

Get in the back of the line, buddy.
I like that cue and would buy it in a heart beat...if I could hit a ball with it.

I've had a Tad and a Gina that were similar....but different joint fitting.

I was thinking along those lines., maybe even a TS....until I saw the joint face.....

Now I just don't know, but that cue has an air about it. It's definitely worth trying to find out.

Interesting, it seems to have numerous influences. The overall cue has a Tad/Gina look. The joint rings are Szamboti type with a Southwest style phenolic joint. The flat faced 14 is different. There have been so many unknown cue makers over the last 25 years it could have been made by someone no one has heard of. An unmarked cue is hard to identify anymore.

I would say Mike Johnson/Jensen cues is a definite possibility

BTW I am guessing more than 25 years on that cue. It's got seventies qualities to the build. Maybe 30-40 years old?

It's a gem IMHO. But who made it? I am at a loss at the moment. As was stated it has features and qualities of several makers. Maybe somebody will nail it yet.

Consider this a small bump in hopes of that..... :)

A few things about the cue make me think about a cue i had a few years ago. The ring work the bumper and weight bolt assembly. I was told my cue was an early Richard Black but i never knew for sure.
