Just got back my 1st catalog Adam Rambow from Scott Gracio. He normally doesn't do refinishing jobs but was nice enough to hook mine up, thanks Mr. Gracio. He also hooked it up with a new ferrule and real cortland wrap that came off another old cue. Hope you like it.

Now that's just awesome, And a Cortland wrap too! How great is that! As you may know, Adam didn't use bumpers in those first year cues. But I've placed bumpers in mine as well, It's better safe than sorry.

Sweet!

Gracio really hooked you up. I don't think it's common to be able to salvage a wrap, they come apart when you take them off from what I know.

I dig the cue, and I really dig that Gracio did the work.

thanks

Thanks for the comments. Yeah I know it didn't come with a bumper, but like you said "better safe than sorry". And I was glad he let me use the cortland. It does have some staining which might come out with some more cleaning, but hey I'm sure it'll start to blend in the more I use it and get it dirty. Btw for those that are interested, it was a full splice under the wrap, solid rosewood from the tip of the points all the way to the butt cap. I know there were some "burton spain" full spliced Adams out there, but this one is solid. I guess I forgot to take a pic of under the wrap, I guess ill post that pic in 40 years when its due another refinish.

Wow. This cue really struck a chord with me...beautiful. I'm glad you were able to come up with the Cortland for this one as I think that really completes the cue...
