Since adding a table to my house I've been making a list, and breaking things down in my game I'm not happy with. One was not knowing, or using any systems for kicking and banking. That has been remedied, and I practice them daily (thanx Freddie/Grady/Jimmy). The next biggie was the life long nagging uncentered stroke, which caused me to overcut balls to the right, and undercut to the left (I'm a lefty) and I never took the time to break it down and fix it, I just compensated which always snuck up and bit me under pressure. I've pretty much fixed that with a different body anchor for proper alignment, and I"m VERY happy I tripped into that repair.
Now, to my point. Having repaired some stroke flaws, I was curious as to how some of my old cues would feel with this new correction? Every one I took out felt different, but good. Every one in the case (8) was given an excuse for getting put up on the hanger, and I bought a new one.
Any of you out there have a similar experience? I had no idea poor mechanics would translate into the hit quality/feel of a cue. Now I have a rack full of cues I REALLY like again!
