Beautiful wrapless Mike Stacey cue in terrific condition 95%+. Made in 2002. Forearm is red flame coccobolo with alternating 3 high 3 low splated maple points. Highly figured birdseye maple wrapless handle. Butt sleeve is red flame coccobolo alternating with 2 sections of spalted maple. Try as I may photos do not adequately capture the beauty of the woods used in this cue.
It has a flat faced joint with a 3/8 x 11 pin. Joint collars are made of highly figurese splated maple with 4 rectangular white inlays within them.
The shaft is in very good condition, having seen little use. It weighs 3.7 ounces, pro taper, perfectly straight, no bluing in the wood. The tip measures 12.86 mm, non-layered original tip, unsure of the brand, but has planty of life in it.
Butt weighs 14.6 with a weight bolt in, weight can be adjusted up or down.
I took this cue in on a trade at the Derby City Clasicand did pretty well with that so I am ready to move this out quick. If anyone has a reasonable counter offer fine, but let's keep it realistic please. This cue would be comparable to $1200-1400 Mike Stacey cues as seen currently on Indy Q (Roy Mallot's site).
This cue plays very nicely. A solid hit with lots of feedback through the cue. That's what I like about wrapless, I play with one myself.
Looking for SOLD SOLD SOLD I would accept the cue in return if contacted within 3 days of receipt and can arrange for a reputable escrow as required, we would split the fees.
I have more photos I can email as needed, any questions just ask.
