Showman

Awesome cue and a beautiful case too!

In case you're curious:
The 'MCTShowman' stands for Marylane C. Targino Showman. John's wife who did all the leather work on this case.

I was very curious, thank you very much for the info, now where is the #1 case, lol.

Congrats on your new cue. It is awesome and the case is my favorite one I have ever seen for several reasons.

Here are a couple photos and the stories that go with them about the cue.

The photo below is one my favorites. Dennis Searing is holding the cue, Eric Crisp is on the left and the dude flipping us off is John Showman. Lot of cuemaker in that pic.

When I was at John's shop he showed me the pattern he made for the TAR logo he put on the butt of the cue. He offered it to me but I asked him to keep it because one day I wanted a cue with that on it for myself. Since then I have thought about it and decided it would be cooler if there was only one Showman with that on it. So you have the one and only.

Gorgeous cue & case Rod. One of a kind to boot.
Doesn`t get any better than that.

Is it me or does Dennis look taller...

I think you're right Rod, keep my (I mean your) cue unchalked. :p

This cue is awesome. I was in that room that night drooling for what felt like an eternity. It was really only 5 minutes but you could just tell that cue is a killer on the table.

Thanks for sharing a beauty,
Chris

Thank you, very cool stuff. I need Will to sneak me in a TAR event one of these times. It would be great to meet you. A friend of mine went to the last one, and he talks about it every day. He got a ticket by accident, lol.

I can't believe you didn't get it, it has CMD all over it. Great wood and a Hoppe ring.

It was right in the middle of building my house. Hard to loosen up funds for a cue during that time. That cue started me on my path of bocote and Hoppe cues.

That is a wonderful cue that I hope to own someday.

Take care,
Chris

The first case she did is this one
