To me, 760 is totally ridiculous for a 7' table. I think 860 is on the fast side for a 7', but plays nice. A 7' table eliminates quite a lot of your stroke to begin with. Put 760 on there and you will be left with absolutely no stroke. Every shot will be bunting balls around. I personally don't understand why any pool hall would use 760, unless they are the ONLY place to play around. There is one otherwise very nice table (9') set up near me with 760 on it. I can play on it for free, but I don't because it is too unlike any other table around here. I would get the 860 and try to preserve some of your stroke for those times when you go to play on other tables.
