Somebody sent me a PM in reference to the videos that Marty Herman is ustreaming on Ustream. :)

I don't hang out on Ustream events, mainly because I don't have time to watch the computer monitor for hours on end. It's not that I don't like to see pool on the computer. I have to use a computer to work, and when I get away from work, I like to do something that doesn't involve the computer, if you know what I mean. So Ustream and me, I just ain't got the time, sad to say. :p

Marty, I listened to a portion of your Ustream from March 2. I had not realized my comments offended you in the manner which they did, and for that, I apologize. I posted my opinion because I did not like reading the unkind words written about you. I should not have written anything about your emotional or mental state, as I am not a doctor. :sorry:

That said, I have to agree with about 90 percent of what you said about other matters. I like the fact that you said you are not out to hurt pool but to help it. That's right on in my book! :cool:

About Hatch and Keith, it was before my time with Keith. I didn't even know Keith had played you at Country Club. I did hear a wee bit of scuttlebutt from Dana Bufalo about how Keith thought he was going to storm through New England like Grant through Richmond, getting steered by Dennis, but it didn't quite turn out that way. :grin-square:

The owner of Country Club, may he rest in peace, seemed like a nice guy. I didn't know him well, though.

Anyway, best of luck to you on Herman University. I watched about 45 minutes of it this morning, and I have to say I enjoyed it. I also agree with some of your observations about some -- not all -- pool-related matters. Best of luck to you on your future league and Ustreams! :)
 
Marty isn't doing anything that is good for pool, now or in the long run.

Look, its just like me. I am all for promoting world peace, but, I might have to kill a lot of people to achieve my goal.

You know I love you and Keith--- but you're totally on the wrong side of this one. I know you're probably a "rescuer" at heart; but, let's face it: this guy is a scumbag.

If you feel like rescuing someone, help out some homeless guy on the street--- at least they're not liberally giving out death threats.

Legal threats, death threats, physical threats---- pah-leeeze. Next thing ya know you'll prob be posting about how Hitler was misunderstood and he was bipolar too. Sometimes you're in the "right" to kick someone to the curb where they belong. ;):thumbup:

I understand what you are saying, but my point is that it is not my place to post on a public forum my opinion about someone's emotional and/or mental state. I am not comfortable if my words have caused hurt and/or anger to anyone. That's how I roll today. We are all members of God's human family. :)

Truth be told, I think animals are better company than humans sometimes. Humans let you down; animals give you unconditional love.

If you see my post in the other thread, you'll find a link that may be helpful in regard to mental state and what COULD be going on. I am sure there are other health care professionals that would agree. While we can't diagnose, looking at a pattern of events, situations, hearing stories or reading info provided, I would say its very straight forward what is going on.

I would urge Marty to seek professional help, I don't imagine being a pool player his whole life has many health care benefits. (insurance)

That beautiful black lab looks likehe has a unicorn horn in the middle of his head!i know its just the chair or what ever that is,but it looks weird!
