Yes they did, during the 10 Ball final that it would be on after. But when the 10 Ball final ended they said "BTW, guess what, no straight pool stream." :angry:
Last I heard there is no stream. When they announced it was going to be on after the 10 Ball I even started a thread to remind everyone. But we got shafted. I'm sure the guys from here that put a lot of work into it are as disappointed as we are.

I enjoyed the streaming of the 10 ball.
Yeah, the stream was very good. Video quality was excellent even in full screen. SVB was on a mission today.
Guys we are sorry it just didn't come together. By the time our opening and semi final rounds ended Charlie had to go to the Billiard Beauties event at the incredible Sandcastle Billiards, and Mika was playing in the finals of the Cue Cube Million Dollar Freeze out. Schedules conflicted and it just didn't come to pass. We are sorry it didn't happen for the fans and we are hoping next year we can better schedule everything.
So Charlie, the final was not played at all?
no they ended up splitting.
I tuned into the Billiard Beauties event for a short time. Charlie should have stayed and played 14.1.
Straight pool gets the shaft again. Sigh.
So let's be clear, CW, the promoter of the self-titled World 14.1 Championship, shined on playing the final to go watch Borana and Shanelle play pool? Yeah it was a Dragon promotion but come on, really?

They should both be banned from next years event. If they had a conflict, they should not have entered. The 3rd and 4th place finishers would have been thrilled to play in the finals, as well as everyone else in the tournament, except Mika and Charlie who showed they had more important things to do. This is a big slap in the face to everyone who donated money and time to put on this event. They think they are bigger then the event....we need to set an example and put them in their place. I know the ABP won't respond to their actions, but I wish they would, but wait, Charlie is on the Board of directors right ??? What do you say ABP.....what is your opinion ?...We would like to hear from your board of directors....

Well, to answer the question in your post title, I'm not sure that AH has an opinion on this but I would sure like to hear what they think. The 14.1 Challenge was not officially part of the Hopkins Production per se, and apparently for the last two years the SBE was being torn down all around the 14.1 final while it was being played.
