Block letter 1972 joss

Thank you for all the PMs with offers.

I will include a set of custom birdseye maple joint protectors I made for this cue.

Bump for you.

I really want this cue, but I have a Murrell coming and no cue funds.

Good luck with your sale.

Someone told me all of the early block letter JOSS veneer cues were built by Mr. Scruggs or Bob Frey. Can anyone verify this??

Thanks,

John

Mike,

This early JOSS block letter cue still has a nice fit with the shaft onto the 3/8-10 pin. The last couple of turns you can hear a high pitched squeaking sound like it made when it was new. When you first start to engage the shaft onto the pin there is a little wiggle movement, but by the time you get a little farther towards the joint it becomes a very crisp fit.

Thank you for your time,

John

John, this is not a 1972 Joss. 1968-1972 the Joss logo was Italic. 1973-1975or1976 was straight up like this logo. I think it was called the Diamond series. This is a really nice old Joss. GLWS
