I sent a payment via PayPal for a BK2 to CO_Kid1 on March 15th and since I made the payment I haven't heard anything from him. He was just logged in and still didn't respond to my messages. I know its not a lot of time that went by, but he was replying to me within 15 min of my emails when I had questions about the cue and now nothing.

To top it off I found that kickshotkid also paid for the cue before me. He sent his payment the regular way. He ended up getting his money refunded with no explanation, but I haven't gotten any word yet...

And to make matters worse for myself I was somehow conned by CO_Kid1 into sending the payment as a gift through paypal to save the seller fees...me trying to be a nice guy helping out a fellow azer and now I get shit on...Obviously CO_Kid1 is being deceitful and for not posting that the stick was sold when kickshotkid sent payment a day before me is definitely shady...

Well if anyone knows where he lives or has any ideas on how I should go about this matter I would be most appreciative, and I made this in the wanted/fs forum so noone else sends a payment for the BK2..because it is still for sale......

That's a pretty quick rush to judgement, but considering the price was almost too good to be true, the fact that he has zero itrader, and hardly any posts does give cause for concern. ...Maybe find the post you originally purchased the cue from and make mention of the problem so nobody else tries to buy it.

I recently had a member here try to buy a cue off me using something called "giftrocket"..he added 100.00 to my asking price for next day air. This person never made a single post and had no itrader at all. Needless to say I didn't sell it to him. But it's unfortunate that people like this are in here. I wouldn't pay anyone with less than 10 itrader as a gift. Just my own rule.

I hope this gets sorted out. Stinks to be bamboolzed like that.

I have sent a lot of payments as a gift to avoid fees. I have had the same done for me in return without any issues. I think you need to have at least a phone conversation before sending money to feel things out. I honestly can say that I will never be dishonest or try to rip anybody off, but, things do happen. It all comes down to your word and standing behind what you are offering for sale. It is a shame your deal went down like it has, maybe your cue is on it's way to you, hence the refund of the other buyer's money. Give it a few days before throwing in the towel.

Thanks, yes I know it seems rather quick to judge, but I did see CO_Kid1 log on here two different times after I left messages just asking if he shipped my cue out yet and still no word from him just makes me think he is being a crook. And to top off that someone else also paid for the cue before me and the fact that he has 0 itrader definitely warrants an explanation from his part as to whats going on with the cue?

Good luck!

I have now been waiting on payment from 2 az members for two plus months and both had 20+ perfect itrader so even that you should watch! Good luck with this. The phone call to feel someone out should be used all the time unless you know them or they have references. Sorry to hear there are so many crooks out there!

It could also be the fact that he is new to buying, selling, and shipping. Also, I remember my first deal on AZB, I was a little lost at first on how to complete the deal which slowed down the process. It went as planned and was a win/win.

Yea I can only hope so, but I am thinking it is unlikely because he definitely knew how to msg me and email me back ASAP when I was asking about the weight of the cue and the tip, and once I sent payment I haven't heard from him since.

Idk I hope I'm wrong, but with the world the way it is anymore it is hard to trust anybody, even people you do know.

i 2nd that hard to trust anyone i got it good from a guy on ebay a few days ago just insane how people are over short money

I hope it all works out for you. I do not think that the short money is the issue, it is the morals and values of the seller that is the issue. Rich or poor, you are either honest or not.....Money won't change my values or integrity.

Sorry to hear that you are worried. Hope it works out well for you.

Just as something to think about, I would never send a gift payment to anyone that has a 0 iTrader. Honestly, I don't like doing it for most that don't regularly buy and sell here.

Most people send payments to me that way, but I would rather lose money than cheat anyone. There are some very good buyers and sellers here (I would like to think I am one of them). If it's someone who is fairly new or hasn't done a lot here, better to just eat the 3%, which was only $7 in your case. If you had sent him $247, you could simply dispute it and get your money back.

I know you know all this by now. It does suck; hopefully just a misunderstanding.

Shows he was on at 8:51 tonight.
Considering one of his last posts was calling out most AZers as ignorant...may not be a good sign. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=3501880&postcount=98

But maybe a little more time will solve things. End of week before busy weekends can be tough.

yea I can def understand being busy with family and work, but if he's able to log on here twice since I msged him asking if he was able to ship the cue out, then it is just common courtesy to send a quick msg saying, " yea its shipped you'll see it soon." Just to clear up the matter of two people paying for the cue...

As a long time follower of AZB who didn't bother actually signing up for an account until recently, i hate seeing things like this because it will just make it harder for me if i ever want to do business with someone :(

Gift?

Or maybe he sent other persons money back because you sent as gift and other person didn't, hope that's not the case. Good Luck

buyer sellers

there are buyers and sellers on here i would back 100%.................
and cues should be shipped with in 24 hrs of payment.
during week days. there is nothing wrong with asking is this person trust worthy

i hope this all works out.

Do you even read threads at all before you post, or do you just hammer out a tourette's reply after reading only the thread title?

I sent a payment via PayPal

Seriously those were the first 6 words he posted. How the hell did you miss that?
