"THE PURPLE HAZE" Has finally come home to roost

I think it was about 9 years ago or so, that I got my hands on the "HAZE", by Paul Mottey. I don't know what came over me, but i decided to send the "HAZE" on a long journey. She was all over the place, and I kept seeing her from time to time. Well she has finally decided to come back home where she belongs.

Wow. I am a big Mottey fan. In fact a Mottey is my "dream cue".

That one sure is sweet. Don't let her go again or we'll have to get yer head examined. :D

she just kept saying that she wanted to see the world.....so what could I do.....lol. I am a cue collector, so we know I definitely need my head examined...let's not go there
 
Wow, Steve, this cue is the second nicest Mottey ever made in my opinion. The Ivory piloted joint makes the hit incredible also. I hope you hit at least one ball with it, unchalked of course. Just a center ball hit would be enough for you to feel the hit. Thank you for sharing a great cue.:thumbup:.

I owned this Mottey after you cut it loose and before it made its way back to you. It's a very nice piece. Enjoy!

Or as my buddy used to put it:

One of my fav Motteys. I actually about bought it a while back. Forget who had it at the time. That is about the only cue I have ever seen with purpleheart that I didnt hate. It is a gorgeous cue. Congrats on getting it back. Again, not disappointed in your taste in cues. Another one to add to that impressive collection you got.

had a few requests to possibly send the Haze back out on the road........just can't do it. she is home for good, sorry
