8 points (4 hi,4 low) into bird's-eye maple forearm.
Each higher ebony points has a diamond ivory inlay with fourfold veneers(White,Silver,red, black).
Each lower curly maple point with single veneer (Black).
8 diamond ivory inlays and some curly maple lnlays were used of ebony butt sleeve.
Ivory ring works at A,B,D,E positions, fake ivory butt cap.
White and brown specks linen wrap.
2 shafts with ivory ferrules. One is used (12.8mm) and another one is new, never been chalked(13mm).
Weights:19.6oz, Lengths:58 inches.
Stainless steel joint for 5/16-14 screw.
This cue rolls straight when part and together and the condition of butt is near new cue. The butt has a small dent on the joint only.

One definition of vintage is: "best and most characteristic"... so, when used in the context of this cue... it could mean a great example of Stroud's work. It doesn't necessarily mean "old".... ScottR was just stirring the pot a bit here...

Actually, ye of the hot avatar, I was truly curious about the use of the word. I'm definitely NOT challenging this very fine example of Bill's work. You are right that I have always thought vintage implied age. You are right and I am enlightened.

And, it is a very nice cue! :cool:
