is there any similarity between this and Kamui or is it closer to the consistency of say master or pre-flag master?

It's certainly cheaper than Kamui! There is no comparison to Masters, or Silver Cup. This chalk stays on the tip like no other chalk I've used. It virtually eliminates miscues.

I tried a box and it is great chalk.
Softer than Blue Diamond, and it paints on noticeably better.
Definitely worth a try.
I will buy more, and CF gets it out quick for a decent price.
