Looking for some info....thanks guys
Partner the cue looks like it could be a Brunswick Model 30, do to the Mother Of Pearl wedge it appears it was manufactured as a Trophy Cue. However, not all of these cues were made by Brunswick, if the cue doesn't have a visible Brunswick Label it could have been made by one of the following companies also.
1 - Oliver Briggs - There is little known about this company they were making Pool cues from around 1910 until ?
2 - Rieper Manufacturing Company - This company made many cues similar to cues produced by Brunswick. They also made a similar Model 30 and a similar model 360 to the Brunswick cues, however, the quality of their work was superior to cue made by Brunswick. The problem is that it will take an expert to identify the cue as a Rieper cue. Rieper cues are the most sought after brand of cue made from around 1910 to 1930. If the cue is a Rieper it will bring a great deal more than a Brunswick cue of like style.
I will do a little more research and see if I can find any additional information in some of the old catalogs I have. Anyway you look at it this is a very desirable and rare cue that appears to be in great condition, I think you have found a real gem that is worth a modest amount of money.
