i had a disaster when my jump cue butt got stuck in my sterling wave case
you can read about my fiasco here

i got in touch with Matt Carter at sterling gaming the company that makes sterling wave cases (thanks cocobolo cowboy for the contact info)
we hashed over several ideas and communicated multiple times
althought there is a pouch in the large pocket for part of the butt of my lomax jump cue the other part would be loose in the pocket
i didnt want to give up space in the pocket for my cue butt and wanted to store it in the case
ultimately Matt suggested i try a sleeve they make that the cue butt could slip into (sort of like a condom) and is long enough to stick out so you can grab it (the sleeve ) to get the butt out if it slides down too far
he promptly took all my phone calls and wanted to be sure i was happy
i am happy and happy to say sterling wave cases, the company, and customer supprt is superb
