Steve, All joking aside..
You are a blessing to us at Az.. You support the cuemakers. You see what you like, step-up and buy...
You have good taste and know the features of the cue designs.
And, you share with us your enjoyment of looking at the works of the Best the industry can offer..
A treat we might never get a chance to see, if not for your postings..
Thanks Steve...
Congrats on your "New", well deserved life of lesure...
Alton
I had the chance to meet Chis last week and view his work. After talking some shop with Chris, it was clear to me he pays close attention to details and he is very creative in a big way.
Chris has done a wonderful job using classic elements in a fresh way by using copper. The box veneers are perfect. And the veneer combination work very nicely.
Steve. Thanks for posting the pictures. I am glad to hear Brian is happy with the cue. The barbells are copper with a brass center. It is one of those details that is hard to pick up with the camera. This is the first cue i have inlayed with either material. I am very pleased with how it came out. I am also pleased it ended up in your collection.
looking forward to vegas, hope you and the boys make it out. Chris
First off let me state that I know Chris personally.
But has he ever made a cue that was not a knock out. And I have seen a number of his cues and there is not a one that is not a beauty.
This cue sits right up there with anything any cue maker out there can do.
I just took a second longer look and that ring work is outstanding.
