SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
I am listing this cue for my dear friend Rick Davis' widow. He passed away last month and I have been asked to sell his cues.
This Ginacue was made by Ernie in the late 60's (he thinks 1969) and was refinished by Ernie a few years ago. Since the refinish the cue has had little play and both shafts are in great condition, with one near pristine.
The four cloverleaf point & 4 barbell design is among Ernies's most popular and sought after designs of the era.
The ring that has the "GINACUE" name also has Rick's name on it ("RICK DAVIS"). Ernie took out as much of the ink as he could and under anything except close inspection it disappears. I have taken a close shot to make it as visible as possible but in the first picture of the entire cue it has Rick's name facing the camera and as you can see (or not see) it's near invisible.
Lastly, if you look closely at the rings on the shafts you will see the color of one (the near pristine one) is a perfect match, the other is slightly darker. Ernie is certain both were made by him.
Specs:
The cue is dead straight both together and apart.
butt = 15.02 oz
shaft 1 = 3.84 oz
shaft 2 = 4.18 oz
both shafts 12.75 mm
The ferrules are both Ivory with Moori tips
I will be listing the cue on eBay but thought I'd give the AZer's first shot.
SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
NO TRADES!!!!!! Please, the last thing the widow wants is another cue so if your offer involves any trade of any kind it will be ignored. NO TRADES!!!!
I am well known to many here and have perfect iTrader feedback, I will also escrow the cue if desired by the buyer.
Thanks,
Joe/Junksecret
