Yes, John played well. A quick review of my notes says he missed a few more shots than Corey did, but he made nearly twice as many balls as Corey did.

thanks for the stats

I don't think that it's that much of a suprise how this game turned out. this match up was wide open as both player are able to do the damage that was done. Some, like my self, had Corey as the fav but neglected to remember the caliber of both players. Corey may of droped the ball in the 1P adn fail to show up in the 10 ball, BUT, his speed greatly depends on his mood as "IMO" he is not quite capable of (how do you say) catching a gear, he is either on or off.

And he was off

It is a sad day when your horse comes in second but credit to the winner

corey did scratch on the break once, he was up 8-7, so rack 16

You are correct. In my notes for Game #16, I marked that Corey made the 10-ball on the break and it was spotted, but I failed to note that the CB was kicked in the side pocket by the 7-ball. John then ran out the game.

I strive for 100% accuracy in what I say and in the numbers I post in threads like this, so I appreciate your pointing out my incorrect statement in the original post #1. I have now edited it to be correct.

Thank you.
