My Southern Classic adventure & pics

Thursday AM - enjoying a rare quiet morning with the girlfriend.
Phone rings - it's Clint (aka MidLifeCrisis). "Man what are you doing? I am picking you up in an hour. We're going to Tunica!"
It seems as though our friend Kurt's wife was preparing to foil his pool weekend by giving birth to their first child.
His good fortune was to be mine - game on!
What a great time - new friends & good people sharing a passion. Funny how that reduces everything...

Memories:
- Finding out my old Josswest had not been refinished and has its original linen.
Thank you Mr. Lomax & Mr. Blackburn for the cleanup!
- Playing 10-ball with Mr. Lomax.
- Tony of Guerra Custom Cues - super good guy and awesome cues. You really should look...
- The Blue & White Diner - you know what I'm talking about if you ate there.
- Finding out I am right dominant for everything except pool - thanks Gene!
If you have played against me that is my excuse!
- FOUL!!! - ok, you had to have been there....

Things I want to forget:
- Casino food

A big thank you to Diamond and everyone that made this event happen. Memories were made that will never be forgotten.
Thanks MidLifeCrisis!

Thanks for the pictures!

Great pics!!! Is Alex really wearing 2 shirts, 1 of them longsleeve in this heat. The Scorpion looks great in that purple (my favorite color) shirt.

Alex is so small the heat misses him.

I dunno... he rode over from the hotel to the event center with me Saturday Morning and was complaining about the heat. Of course, it was 35 degrees hotter outside than it was inside! Humidity outside was so heavy it felt hard to take a breath.

Alex wears two shirts 'cause the way he gambles he's almost sure to
lose one of 'em.

Great pictures.:clapping:

Tom,

It was super nice to meet you and I am glad that Clint love the cue he bought.
John Morra played with Clint's cue for about hour and half and love the way it played as well.
You're the type of folks I like to hang out with.
You guy behave down there in Nashville you'all
