Worth mentioning; I'm located in Augusta, GA and would be more than happy to knock $50 off for local pickup. Thanks!

To anyone on the forum who may be interested in the lathe.....

Dallas is local to me, we vowed to meet up and shoot some pool one day, although we haven't done that yet, he HAS gone WAY out of his way to meet me in person and do me personal favors, all from meeting on this forum. He is a SUPER NICE, EXCELLENT, HONEST person to deal with. Please have NO worries and/or concern dealing with him, he is a stand up guy.

If anyone needs or wants me to go by and verify anything on the lathe, I would be glad to, but Dallas is a very competent and knowledgable guy and I wouldn't hesitate to believe what he says.

Good luck on the sale Dallas, if you need anything or any help, please let me know.

Lathe still available... any suggestions regarding additional information I should post or original builder/motor setup, feel free to let me know.

Routine bump... add to list of considerations for trade a dual platter Diamond ball polisher. Thanks!

The headstock on this lathe was made by Anthony Gotti. He also is the one who probably put the lathe together. The steady rest on the left of the headstock is one of mine, and the dovetail could be mine too, the rest of the parts are standard taig parts. the motor is a Penn state 1/2HP DC motor, the control board built into the headstock was for the week Wonder motor that has been replaced. the on/off swith and reverse switch on the wonder motor might be recyled and used with the Penn state motor. (not surre about that).

The lathe looks good for the most part, and is definnatly a good deal for whom ever buys it.
hope this information helps.

Regards
Bassel

Bassel,

Thanks for taking the time to add information to my thread! I feel a little better having a reputable builder tell me everything appears to check out.
