We're down to 8 on the one loss side and 4 on the winners side.

They're playing on Gabriels which I haven't heard anyone complain about yet. They're using a rack that I've never heard of before. It's called "Chameleon" and it has two little rubber bumper things on the end that when pushed in, it's supposed to make the balls tight. There's a few players that don't like it very much and choose to not use the bumpers.

The tournament directors this year are Comic Frank Del Pizzo and Myron Trinkle. Both are very nice guys and it's been a pleasure chatting with them. Frank was here last year & just before the finals he did a little bit of his stand up routine. Hopefully he'll treat us to more of the same this year.

Petroni vs Archer
Bryant vs Williams

The winners side matches will play at 8:30
Deuel vs Hatch
Putnam vs Davis

ScottR just showed up with a nice cold beer! I wish I could do this at every tournament.... watch all the matches, post the results, and have beer delivered to me.

Mika & Stalev are tied at 2-2

Williams is up 1-0 on Bryant

Archer is up 1-0 againt Petroni

The pro-am event on the barboxes that Shannon Daulton won last yr & McCready came in 2nd at is about to start. I can hear the announcer calling the matches on the microphone downstairs.

I don't know who all is playing but I did hear the following names...

I believe it's 9 ball. The format is the best two out of three, race to 7
 
Souquet won the 1st set against Chohan

Chohan's game is really off today. I stopped by the action tables last night and he was down there around 1am. I don't know if he ended up playing and was up late last night or whats going on with him today. He hasn't been his boisterous self all day today. He stopped by Jeeves' party on Thur night but I didn't see him there last night.

Mika just gave Stalev the 1st set. Mika was using the 8 ball in a combination shot & the 8 ball followed the object ball into the pocket.
 
One guy was just asked to leave the arena for using flash photography. While he was being told to get up and leave, Mika told the TD that it didn't really bother him. The guy was allowed to stay but turned over his camera to the TD for the duration of the matches.

The TD makes probably 5 or 6 announcement each session about flash photos and cell phones. HELLO PEOPLE!!! NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY & please put your cell phones on vibrate when you're at a pro event.
 
Mika is up 2-0 against Stalev in the 2nd set

Bryant & Williams are tied at 2-2. I have a feeling that these two could end up on the shot clock before this session is over.
 
Johnny won the 1st set 5-1 against Petroni

Souquet is still at 3-0 against Chohan

Williams & Bryant are tied at 3-3

Mika is on the hill 4-1 against Stalev in the 2nd set.

I see John Schmidt is signed on....John if you're reading this, we miss you being here this year. I remember the very first time I saw you... downstairs at the pro-am event two yrs ago.... It was that million dollar smile. ;)

Chohan is on the board with two wins.

Charlie Williams just won the 1st set against Bryant

Souquet just defeated Chohan. This is the one loss side so Chohan is out of the tourney.

I don't know what kind of cue extension that Archer uses but it's the longest extension I've ever seen. Does anyone know what he uses?
 
Fabio is on the hill 4-2 against Archer in the 2nd set. If he wins this game they'll have a sudden death playoff.
