Good Evening guys,

Up for sale is a Full Splice Brazilian rosewood Tascarella Conversion. The titlist was a 50's era cue that has beautiful dark wood grain and very vivid, bright veneers. The cue is full splice from joint to bumper with no handle wood added. The cue was completed 3 months ago.

19.5 oz
(2) 13.25 shafts with 3/4 inch non ivory ferrules both with light play. The Joint finish on 1 shaft is a bit rough and needs buffed out.
Joint diameter is .84 (Tascarella Standard)
cue is 59" split 29.5/29.5
Butt condition is 100%

Buttsleeve is Black LBM with MOP inlays and nickel trim rings. Very classic design inspired from Gina/Tad/Balabushka.

CAME TO MY SENSES, NO LONGER FOR SALE

Thanks,
Ian

if this cue is 58" I'll buy it right away but I dont shoot with 59" cue. Very nice cue and hard to come by! I wonder how long would it take if you send the cue back for him to take 1/2 inch off the butt?

I would imagine it wouldn't take long. The thing I would consider first is taking an inch off 1 of the shafts.

Depends on how "full spice" the blank was. If the Petes sectioned the cue, which I'm guessing they did because of the butt cap, there's a maple handle under the wrap and that's probably where they added the 1/2 inch. Take that handle out, put a standard one in, new wrap and you are all done. How long and how much, well you have to go back to the Tascs, so that depends on them, but its certainly not like changing the forearm or butt cap.

Kevin,

As mentioned in my first post, the cue is full splice from joint to Delrin. The LBM used in the butt was just sleeved over the Rosewood just like a ring would be. There is no handle or any other length of wood added to the butt.

Thanks,
Ian

That's a sweet cue and that was a great blank to go 59 1/2 that way, generally you have to shorten them up and add to the butt.

I wouldn't cut the shaft cause you would lose weight of the shaft. I think take 1/2 inch off the butt is not so hard.Does anyone have Tasc contact info? I'll call him myseft and ask how long and how much? Thanks

Pete made a few titlist conversions, I have one without any inlays and as I remember it was your asking price! A beauty you have there!
