BILL STROUD JOSSWEST CUE. 1972-1980 time frame.

4 points, 2 shafts, Ivory butt cap, Ivory ferrules, clean smooth shafts, custom joint protectors, no dings that I can see, cue rolls perfect that I can see with one shaft, only a very slight wobble with the other shaft but still playable. Not sure on weight, feels like a 18 or 19 oz. Oldest JW logo with sideways W. Shaft diameter feels like 12.75. If someone needs exact measurements let me know.

Great hit, beautiful cue, understated (not too fancy) and very elegant looking. I love the earthy tones as well.

According to the Blue Book of Cues it is worth $1,275, plus $1,200 for Ivory Butt Cap, plus 25% or $618.75 because of the old JW logo, totaling $3,093.75+

It's just a beast of a sweet cue and I'm seeing who wants to make an offer.

Comes with one butt, two shaft Kikel case, very nice.

Thank you,

Max Eberle

max is this your personal cue

You quoted $1200 for the ivory butt cap, the bluebook tates $1200 for the entire butt sleeve of ivory, Maybe, that's a misnomer in his communication, i've never seen an ivory butt sleeve.

Thanks Pookster, I did not know that rule.

Slim, I thought it was an ivory butt and went to Southwest cues today to see if Al Lawrence, Mike, Cody, and Laurie could enlighten me. Well Al and Mike said they did not know for sure but that they would be shocked if it was ivory. So there you have it, probably not an ivory butt cap but the ferrules are and you can see the grain.

I must have read the BB wrong if it said sleeve and I thought that meant butt, my bad.

So, still the cue is a beauty. Anyone interested could knock off what, a hundred or so from their offer? Let me know, thanks, Max

It appears as if the cue has been refinished. If so, by whom? Also, are both shafts original to this cue? Thx
