Here is an Ebony Titlist that I just completed with a real Micarta flat faced joint, stainless steel Radial pin, cork wrap, Ebony Rambo style butt, with 2 shafts and Micarta ferrules - going to Texas.

Yes, I have ONE (1) more that is available in Ebony . . .

Very nice cue Paul. Where do you find your ebony Titlists these days?

Chris

None on EBay

The message says he has one Ebony left, not one on EBay, can see how you could get confused with the quick read. His number is listed in the ad or his e-mail is pdrexler@snet.net

I've seen the cue pictured as well as the other one available and they're both beauties.

Charlie,

how did your cue turn out? I am having Paul build the other blank for me.

Great looking cue!

Mr. Drexler is currently making me a Purpleheart conversion.

This thread only makes me anticipate it more.

His work speaks for itself and he is absolutely wonderful to deal with.

Charlie,

I am doing a short ivort joint with a radial pin. cortland wrap and a veneered mother of pearl wedge in the bottom. Paul is going to use some old veneers from another blank so they match as close as possible. I must say that Paul is a great guy with a ton of knowledge and I should see the cue in about 6 weeks.

This is my first dealing with him I have always been a Stroud fan so I cant wait to try the cue out.

That is going to be a fantastic cue. Here are some pics of my Model H Palmer which is a take off on the 26 1/2 Ebony Brunswick. Your cue sounds like it will be close to this but with Titlist color veneers and a short ivory joint.

This is one of my favorite cues.

Chris,

That is almost exactly what I am going for but I am doing something a little different. Mine will have the MOP go to the bottom of the cue through the 1/4 in. black butplate. I am also asking for some wedge joint protectors but I am not sure if he will do them.

Matt, congratulations on your cue order. You will be glad you made it. Care to describe the design?

For a playing cue, which is what this one is going to be, I like very simple conversions that accent the look of the original cue without overpowering with a lot of flash, so it's a classic design, no inlays... ivory joint, Hoppe style butt with ivory ring, 5/16 x 14 pin. White irish linen, Cortland style, with green speck. I'll definitely post some pictures when it's finished.

Not saying that I don't have any plans on ordering another, hopefully ebony, with some MOP inlays, but I haven't thought about any kind of design yet. I'd definitely go to Mr. Drexler for it, though, when I'm ready, he's been extremely courteous and accomodating through every step.

Take care,
-Matt
