I would like to know

1: Do you think that the current format for picking player is good or should the team (or most of the team) be hand picked with just 1 maybe 2 wild cards under the current format.

2: Who sponsors the players to go to the Mosconi

3: If team EUR will do you think that the masses will say that it's because Ralf and Mika wasn't there.

4: How much credit goes to the Coach, if we win will they say that it was CJ's fault or what about if we lose, will they say the same things they did about CW (prob not cause CJ is liked more, and not asian). Because i think we lost under Nick also.

Matchroom Sportproduces the Mosconi Cup and is solely responsible for its format and content. Since they pay the players' expenses and give them prize money win or lose, it seems fair that they have total control. The Golden Rule. Beyond that I think they really want a fair, interesting competitive event.

I think the result is mostly up to the players. What I have noticed on my visits to the practice room is that the Europeans are frequently there practicing as a team complete with time clock. And the Americans are not.

money money

How much money does each player and the also the captain get on top of expenses? Do the winners get more? You never see it mentioned anywhere. TY

I read it somewhere earlier but I believe that the winning players get 15K and the losers get 10K

I don't know if they do this practice, but...

I think it would be awesome to practice with a time clock and with crowd noise and hecklers. I'd measure the decibel level at the venue and practice with noise a bit over that, so come Cup time, it seems less loud. You could have someone with a "noise machine" with a bunch of pre-programmed noises - cheers, boos, oohs, ahs, etc. Then put a few bodies there as spectators that will throw in an appropriate heckle here and there.

How better to imitate what the players will be faced with?

I knew it would happen

I really love how easy it is to side track people on Az. Time after time I see good questions or topics come up only to have it addressed on page 3.

Thanks bob for the info
