Can you tell me why the ferrule was replaced and who did the repair. If it was not done by someone who understands Predator ferrules it might change the feel and hit of that shaft.

The shaft is a local cue repairman's and someone had shortened the ferrule, so he replaced it, and the tip. He is one of the better repair guys around where we live.
