Last week Prodigy contacted me through a PM wanting to trade cues. The deal was very much in my favor, so we came to an agreement that he sends his cues first and after everything checks out I'd ship mine to him. Then it started, I received a constant barrage of e-mails 24hrs. a day, over 80+ in less than 48 hrs.. He, after the deal was made, was bumping his cue on the forum. This raised red flags for me, seeing he was red repped and had no iTrader, so I e-mailed him that I was calling the deal off and would return his cues the minute I received them. I have not received them, so I have not returned them. Joe, Randy, and Sharpq, thank you for the support.
Regards, D.Brian Misner.

Thanks Brian...as I said earlier, anyone dealing with Brian has a 0% chance of being ripped off---period...

Ooopsss...

So... I should have been the next in line....
I've talked with the guy this days... he agreed to send the cues first...but he said he still awaits the cues to come back from someone (you, probably??)...
It's good to know...

Although, did you get any tracking number or something from him?...I am thinking maybe they are stuck somewhere, and eventually will come...dunno'...just saying.... For how long are on the road?

Thanks for heads-up anyway..

Chris

First thing I did was a search of a1712. I knew immediately that prodigy had made a big mistake even typing your name in the same thread of a bad deal. I don't think anyone even needs to hear your side if they do a search of your user name on here. Now if you'd like to buy something from me, I'd be more than happy to sell it to you! Haha. I think your reputation speaks for itself and wasn't tarnished in any way. Take care!

Update

At 9:20am I sent him an e-mail asking to forward me the tracking num., I want to see what it says. At 12:30pm he e-mailed me back, that he sent it earlier. I just e-mailed him back, I don't have the time to sort through 150+ e-mails to find it please forward it to me and I'll sort out what's going on. He said they have been delivered, which is not true. Brian.

He sends me 20 emails a day too, something very strange about his willingness to be on the wrong end of each deal......

Tracking num.

He forwarded me the tracking num., and after 2 days of insisting that the cues have been delivered, the last it shows is 2/22 Birmingham, AL. Brian.

I would consider shipping them back insured, signature confirmation, and, tracking. It is a little more expensive but saves a lot of headache.

Ill take the low side of a deal cuz I want a predator! And I'm sorry brian we could not do deal I didn't know maken convo aka sending lots of emails would make the deal bad I guess its my fault! Guess I was just lil nervous sending my cues off just trying too stay in touch with u

...........

Brian I don;t want to be the smartass here but it happened a lot to me.
If you using internet shipping/labeling...the guys from USPS forget to scan the label all the time. (at least in my town). I don;t say he's right, as the only thing I know from him is you backed him up....and if this is the reason he's saying this...he's right.
Anyway regarding the shipping date and all other details...only you 2 know what was the deal...
But if he sent the cues on Friday and the status is not updated...is NOT HE'S FAULT! (IT HAPPENS A LOT WITH INTERNET SHIPPING VIA USPS!)

Chris<----hates USPS/FeDEX/UPS for their bad services...:(

One must receive said cues before being able to send them back.
If he ever does get them (highly doubtful) then yes I agree completely.

Shipping

Thanks, I believe with the new USPS System, buying Insurance gives you sign. conf and tracking. Brian.

Brian was not the one who dogged out this deal. Prodigy jumped on ToomnyQs thread saying he had been ripped off by a1712, aka Brian. What actually happened is that nothing has been delivered to Brian yet, but he did decide to rescind the transaction based on his feeling uncomfortable after receiving 50-100 emails from the guy, and seeing where the guy (Prodigy) had bumped the cues looking for other deals after he had already made one with a1712 (Brian), and Brian was waiting on the cues.

I didn't really bump it looking for new deals how could I do a deal if I sent the cues? I also posted trade pending more less I bumped it incase for some reason he didn't want them so I could have another deal lined up if it didn't work I had a lot of interested members I told them all that I'd have too hold up too see what happen I never really said he was trying to rip me off just had bad feeling after I called and he hung up on me once he knew who it was? That was not very profesh

In my mind, Prodigy owes the guy $25 for return shipping (if the cues show)....and a major apology.

In my mind prodigy is a kid who really wants a predator sp. He was afraid that Brian will say no to he's cues and he tried to bump the thread to have a back-up. If the cues are in fact like he says, anyone who takes the deal will be more than happy.
I've already said no and I have a Predator roadline brand new. It's because of this thread...
I hope was not in van...
Anyway Joe, you have all my respect buddy, you know that...but a "bad feeling", when you say yes to a deal and have nothing to lose....it's kind of childish to me. Dealing with people like Prodigy is hard...no doubt...but Brian is not a cup of tea either....I could expand this but I prefer not to...
Anyway I wish you guys a happy ending..
Hope I didn't upset anyone....

He wanted the cue and he wanted the deal. However, after so many emails, etc over a period of 2 days, he got suspicious that there was something wrong with the deal. A normal person under normal circumstances does not email someone 50-100 times in 2 days. Personally, I would have thought that the person might be on drugs or the cues might have been stolen, etc. Certainly not saying that was the case here at all, but those types of actions (all the emails, etc) are highly suspicious looking.

I believe Brian owes the other guy shipping fees as he was the one who wanted to call off the deal.

Maybe he seems dodgy and suspicious, but that didn't happen before the deal was agreed to. The guy seemed to be on (keyboard) steroids/adrenaline or something. However when the cues arrive, and I hope they do, if they check out as described, I think the deal is still active unless Brian decides to call it off and in that case, Brian should send them back, pay for shipping as well as refund the guy's shipping fees.
