Just played in the Q City 9 ball Tour yesterday. It's a handicapped tournament with ratings starting at 3. You play to one above your handicap, alternate break and it's call 9 ball so no lucky rolls to win. Your entry is based on your handicap, it's rack your own and the 9 on the break doesn't count in the lower two.

Pretty fun tournament and fast moving too. Had a fair amount of ppl in it and I didn't wait much longer than 5 minutes for my next match until I hit the late stages where I was waiting on matches to end. From what they said they're also doing points on finishes for a final tournament. Wish I had more time to hit more stops.

Do they have a website, and is it state wide or in just one pool room or area of NC?

They have tournaments in various pool halls around NC. From what I've seen it's going from Charlotte to Greensboro. I played in the one at Randolph's last night.

Not a problem

I'll definitely be at the one in May at Randolph's. Took 4th last night and wouldn't mind making the top 32 for the end tournament.

Ah Carolina, golf all day and pool at night. I sure miss it but every year is closer to retirement and my return to southern heaven. Anyway I wish them success and hope it's going strong when I return sounds like fun to me!

anyone know what time things start in Mooresville Saturday?

Doors open at 11 I believe. Tournament sign ups at noon and usually gets going soon after.

I won't be at this one. My fiancées birthday is Friday and we're doing something Saturday. I'd never hear the end of it.
