Cool old school cue here folks. Beautiful old PJ with a sealed cortland wrap to boot. The joint does come off the table when rolled alone(1/16"), but the tip and ferrule do not when together. I have not had a chance to get it on te lathe, but it looks like the handle is where the slight wobble may be. The shaft is 110grams, 3.75oz IIRC, And the butt is 14.2oz. 12.75mm at the ferrule. There are multiple, what I would call stress inclusions in the forearm wood, probably due to the grain and cut of what I believe, after having searched through this site, Goncalo Alves. The largest one can be seen in the second photograph near the darker section of the grain. Looks like the wood was a bit twisty when the turned it down so many years ago.

I'd like $165 shipped in a used black 1x1 Huebler case

I haven't been able to weigh the butt, shaft is 110grams, 3.75oz IIRC, I'd say the butt is probably 14.5-15oz. 12.75mm at the ferrule. I've owned about a dozen Hueblers; this model was always my favorite.

How much the joint raises is critical. A measurement and/or a pic would help. If it's more than a couple millimeters, this may be a hard sell, especially considering that it may need a re-finish, or re-facing. Also, try to weigh the butt. Although most Hueblers come with a weight bolt, sometimes they're glued in and very difficult to remove and change.
