Just picked this up off of Craigslist. It's stamped on the crossfeed "Mfrd by Hardinge Bros Inc Chicago, USA" & "No 2862". Other than that, I have no information about it. Just wondering if anyone knows it's approximate date of manufacture, value, etc. Anything is appreciated. And yes, it will hold a cue shaft for tip & ferrule repair work.

Thanks for looking,

Kevin

Hardinge is still in business. They make good lathes, I worked with several different models when I was machinist but nothing as old as you have. Thats probably WWII era..

Go to practicalmachinist.com Someone over there should be able to help you out.
