Does anyone know if the WPBL aka Bonus Ball is Drug Testing the Players?

To be considered a legitimate sport, isn't this a must?

they can have as much coffee as they like,

i'm a big supporter of performance enhancing drugs, makes sport more fun to watch

I still hold true to my suggestion. Incorporate Pracercise into BB and then it will be fair if the players are stoned.

I dont think you want to open up that can of worms... Any sport or activity that may encourage the use of alcohol and or PEDs ;) is probably better off not announcing that it has a drinking and a drug problem. Not too many sports are played in a "bar setting". We all know about it and or live it but that doesnt mean it should be announced in a public forum. If you want to destroy billiards then yeah begin "drug testing"....i think the community will be disappointed and no one will be surprised with the outcome.

LOL they'd fail miserably....best to not drug test guys that play long sessions, I will say this.

At the plant sites, guys never get tested on night shift and I'll tell you right now that has nothing to do with the nurse's hours.

You keep crazy hours odds are against it being on the natural

You Have Got To be Kidding

Pool Players don't Smoke, Drink alcohol, Do Drugs or Fool around with Women who Do.

Pool is a legitimate sport.

I worked afternoons and midnights for years in an auto factory. It was always a little scary seeing some dude smoking a Cheech and Chong size hogleg out behind the union hall then seeing him climb on a forklift half hour later to run up and down the aisles a couple tons of steel on the forks with people all around. We had one guy fall asleep on a hi-lo and crash into the break room. Oopsie.

Factory life in a union plant is a world all its own. The old timers used to b!tch that it was bullshit management actually made them close the bar they had set up in the power house. Pool players got nothing on midwestern factory guys when it comes to the substances.

Yeah I just changed jobs but I was a unit manager for the last couple years and let me tell you, even HR will tell you look the other way straight up. What goes on during that 6pm to 6am shift stays on that shift. Those guys got a million ways to stay awake and the one I prefer most became sleeping on the job literally.

I fully agree with you, a pool player has nothing on the shift guys in manufacturing. Don't worry though they will be clean by the time day shift rolls around so the insurance stays low, but it is one of the biggest dirty little secrets out there. Kinda comes with the job in a way, and those guys do not live long lives. Rarely see them in their 80s and most pass away within 10 years of retirement, assuming they ever get to retire.

Drug testing the people running the video stream is clearly the issue, also perhaps the management of WPBL for not watching the quality of their video and not having the Management skill to pull the plug.

they would lose at least 50% of the players if they drug tested. The one's that need drug test are the guys running the ship into an iceberg
