OK JA asked for a new question thread so lets get out of the message thread and get started...

I think Bonus Ball is covered by a confidentiality agreement so sorry but leave those out of here until we know that for sure....

And that can be the first question...

IF he answers yes DO NOT ASK MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT IT.......

Are you covered by a confidentiality agreement on Bonus Ball?

copied from Message thread.......

I'll start out with the Mosconi Cup.....

When will we get to know the captain selection and team selection and will they go back to using points next year?

I assume with this being a big anniversary for the Mosconi Cup that they wanted complete control of the process... I figure CJ may be back at the helm or Nick gets the nod since this is a historic year......

And without playing favorites besides yourself can you give us the top 6 players that will be in the mix for the other decisions/selections in no particular order if you are privy to the info?

Chris

Hi everyone. I am sorry i have been so absent from the forums. I want to address some issues about me and the things that i have been involved in the past few years in pool. There have been a very positive change in pool in the past 60 days. I have been involved in a lot of negotiations for the players as a whole through the ABP and the BIG entities in the industry. I know there have been a lot of questions that have went unanswered for a long time. I am here to answer them now. Regarding the post on "You Johnny Lovers" (i think that is what it said). That is VERY insulting to me and to the GREAT game that we ALL love(pool). I have signed a couple of confidentiality agreements so i ask that you respect that. There is some things that i can't talk about, YET!! GREAT things!! If someone could post on this thread what thread to go to to answer the questions from before and if there is any NEW questions then somebody start up a new thread titled "New questions for Johnny". Thanks to everyone for their patience. We will bring a lot of things out in the open. Thanks, Johnny 'Scorpion' Archer

[/QU OTE]

I am NOT under a confidentiality agreement BUT, for there protection and the players protection, there are some things i can't let out to the public. In short Bonus Ball has spent $2 million dollars so far and there has been nobody since the IPT that has put that kind of money in the sport. Bonus Ball run into a few problems but, they are ironing them out as we speak. I want to say thanks to Mr. Renfro for helping keep this from going out of control. I will be answering questions in general on the certain subjects. I want be responding to the same questions over and over. I am VERY busy here at the 14.1 in New York and handling a lot of the business that i am involved in. Sponsors, competing, ABP, Bonus Ball, US Open, Marietta Billiard Club and last but not least my wonderful family. As you can see that i am VERY busy but, I will take as much time as needed to get to ALL of you who are the FANS and without you we would NOT be here. Thanks, Johnny Archer

As you know the first announcement made by Matchroom Sport has been the European captain. There will more announcements coming soon. In order, Captain and co-captain for the USA team, players selections will start coming after that. I have to wait just like you. I want to hear the GREAT news myself.

Johnny,

What do you think about CJ Wiley's Touch Of Inside technique & using the cue ball squirt/deflection to create the desired cut angle?

Also, what do you think about a 'pendulum' arc swing type stroke vs. a 'piston' straight line type stroke.

Thanks in advance, Regards, Good Luck with EVERYTHING, Best Wishes, & May God Bless You & your Family,

Rick

Johnny,

Aside from being a long standing top performer in the pool world, and the various leadership roles you have held in the pool world (MC captain, etc), what qualifications do you or any of the other "board of directors" of the ABP have that makes you think you are the best choices to represent the professional pool players?

If you really do read these forums, you must have read the many valid complaints about this "organization". Yet nothing changes.

Thanks

Johnny -

I have a few questions.

1) How has Bonus Ball spent 2 million dollars? I've heard from several pros they were paid for 3 weeks total (or $3,000). I am not good at math but 32 players x $3,000 = $96,000. Now there are players that are owed $5,250. That would be $5,250 x 32 = $168,000. So are you figuring in this unpaid money on what Bonus Ball 'spent'?

Either way $2,000,000 - $96,000 or $2,000,000 - $168,000 (if you are doing funny math), still leaves $1.8 million or so that you state was spent on the game by Bonus Ball. To be blunt, what the heck did they spend it on? Free popcorn for the spectators? Ok - no jokes. Because if I spent $1.8 million on pool I can guarantee you I would have more to show for it than purple and orange balls and background lights that change depending on what ball you are shooting. (I lied - there is another joke).

Can you honestly say that you support an entity that you state spent $2,000,000 dollars on pool, the players got $96K and are owed another $168K and this is something they should still look forward to? At ;least with the IPT, the money filtered to the players. Here, where did the money go? And where did it come from? The events in Vega$ in July were $60,000 added. They could have held 33 (more math) of these week long events bringing players from all over the world for $2,000,000. That would have been a heck of a tour and something to build on.

2) Do you remember that I was kind enough to go out of my way to get you a free hotel room suite here in St Louis for a couple of days? Took the time to meet you at the hotel and get you set up. You were very polite at the time. When can you find the time to respond to my text I sent a few months later?

JA wrotein his OP #1: I have signed a couple of confidentiality agreements so i ask that you respect that.

So did you sign confidentiality agreements?

You posted that you did and didn't sign confidentiality agreements within the same hour I think. Or was the ones you signed un-related to BB?

My main question and what bugs me the most. If it had been done to me I would be throwing furniture threw windows..

1. What knowledge did you have about Scott Frost posting pictures of Bonus Ball checks that were never mailed? And why did that happen?

I would love to know the same thing.

Hi Johnny, this is Matt. Don't shoot the messenger, but Big Wayne told me he'd give you the 6 and out in a short set for our next Denny's breakfast at The Open. That man has heart, don't he? ;)

Hope to see you at Brass Taps if I can swing it.

Johnny,

Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?

Thank you for a response and thank you for all you do for pool. :)

Sadly, this is in the top 10% of comments/questions that have been posted for Johnny.

I would take the duck-sized horses in a heartbeat.

Hello Mr. Archer! how do you always find lint on the table?

just kidding! i loved watching you shoot 14.1 in fastmikey's basement (I believe the guy's name is mikey? if i recall correctly) Learned a lot from it! Specially your comment on how "there's always something that you can do"

thanks!

That's an easy one

That's an easy one, Johnny wants a "challenge" :D
