Probably will be able to cut a deal now for 25% or so of the fines. Not sure how much money he would have but it seems like he has some stashed somewhere.

KT treated me and mine just fine. I understand that others do not feel the same.

Yeah, them and dentists. Its not a pleasant day when you have to pay a visit to either.

I think that in Hell, dentists will be working on lawyers sans anesthetic.

What's bad about the dentists is they torture you in the chair, and then you got to pay them for it.

Really looking forward to the IPT coming back. After all those unforseen setbacks, should be great to see 128 of the best players in the world earn a $m dollars each with $48m to the winner playing proper pool on funny equipment. Three pockets each. A team game. I mean.. Groan..
 
The man lost $10 million of his own money in pool. Yep, some vendors and subs did not get paid. That is true, but he did invest a small fortune in pool.

Because I was a beneficiary of the funds in an indirect way, I can't dance on his grave while he's going through a hard time now. I feel bad for him. IMO, he did try to do something good for pool.

It is amazing to me how some could hate Kevin Trudeau as much as they do and never utter one peep about some pool peeps' income made by ripping off the public. Just don't get it. Praise one and despise the other.
 
Jam, I think you're being unfair here....I have no money in this, but a con man is a con man and I despise them all equally. Ever thought that the money Kevin gave you was ripped off from victims? I guess they don't matter as long as you're happy, right?

You need to look around the pool world and see how others made their money. Some of these guys are heralded as good guys in the pool world. People pay them respect and praise their every move, yet I don't see much difference in the way they made their money and the way Kevin Trudeau did. In fact, in some cases, it is worse.

I will always be the lone dissenter in the Bash Kevin Trudeau threads, but that is because my personal interaction with him and the IPT differs than some who may have not had any intereaction with him.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, pwd72s. I am not going to confront you with a long and drawn-out debate about why I believe your thoughts may not be fair or hold merit in my eyes, but please allow me to be entitled to my opinon. I respect yours. :smile:
 
Those who received $$ during the IPT era, that's great. Those who got stiffed or lost out for other reasons, not so great. More importantly, he spent virtually his entire life conning people.

I have no problem throwing him under the bus. I don't praise others who acquired money by cons, either.

I agree with JAM that there should be consistency in the standards by which con-men are praised or despised, haha. Although it's hard to think of another person who has conned people with the consistency and lifelong dedication that Kevin T has...not to mention flagrantly ignoring the court orders over and over, as well. He's quite a character.
