I've been looking to add an EP to my collection for a while now, found quite a few but none made me excited enough to want to buy it immediately. Then a PM came along followed by pictures...and that was it. Budget was blown and this way was on it's way to me...it was definitely an arduous journey for this cue...took about 3 weeks to get here but it turned out good.

Enough talking and here are the pictures..

Believe it or not this is actually the seam of the wrap...impossible to picture and i spun the cue like at least 10 rounds to actually find it...

The following Macro shots are to show the detail and tightness of Ed's work. Note that they are exaggerated and cannot be seen by the naked eye.

can't believe that Dirk let them go:sorry:
I had both Cues in my Hands and this was the nicer one;)
now you have to take the other too:thumbup:

Dirk's an awesome guy to deal with and I definitely won't hesitate to deal with him again!

That said he's got a neat Mobley...very tempting :)

Jive I hate you lately !! Lol

Jive that is bad a$$ wow if I had a choice besides that Brazilian player Martin sold this cue would be it!!! Good pick up !! Between this cue and that mobley you are at the top with awesome cues here lately ! Enjoy them

You Lucky S.O.B.

You own a cue from a cue-maker that is tied for my #1 next cue purchase.....hopefully in 2014............my next purchase is either a Joel Hercek cue or a Ed Prewitt cue........and my purchase will be from the secondary resale marketplace rather than placing a new cue order that would take too many years of waiting to get. This past summer I ordered a custom cue that's being built right now. I went that way because I can't see spending many thousands on a cue and settling for a cue that isn't exactly to my specs. So I have to build my fund back up if I ever hope to score a Prewitt or Hercek cue next year and I'm hoping a $4500-5000 budget will score a level 5 Prewitt cue.

Finding the right cue when you are dead set on the cue's specs can turn into a seemingly impossible chore and I'm sure others have experienced this as well. But I can't see dropping a ton of money for a cue, even if the cue was made by Joel Hercek, Gus Zamboti, or Ed Prewitt, if the cue is "only" a 1/2 oz. heavier, say 19.1 ozs. Oh well, that's probably why I may never own a Prewitt or Hercek cue. It obvious that when you purchase a previously owned pool cue, you are either settling for what the cue-maker thought was the right cue specs or the original cue owner's specifications. The cue didn't turn out the way it did by accident or just mere happenstance.

Congratulations of your new acquisition and you own a really beautiful Prewitt cue.

You won't regret getting an EP..

Jive nice cue now all you need is my minty ebony lomax jump break cue?;)

I actually have a Break and Jump cue buddy...i just wanna trade my Mezz from something new to play around with hehe.

i lovethe small touch of the ivory joint protector screws.. thats awesome!

chris

Actually that's one of the main reason i bought this cue, the ivory screw pin is too sexy!!

Beautiful Prewitt, they play as great as they look. I tried an OB shaft and it didn't play as well as the original shafts. Great investment towards a soon to become a famous cue maker.
