Everyone has been paid at the US OPEN

I want to let everyone know that every player at the US open has been paid in full. A lot of people pitched in to help to make this happen. Thanks to everyone involved (you know who you are). The players received their checks within 2 hours after they were eliminated. It was a very smooth process. This should have set a precedent in all future events. Pool made a big step this week. I pool would go as well as the open did last week then all events will be successful. Thanks to everyone for supporting the ABP so we could get this done. Thanks to Barry and Shannon for working with us for making this US Open successful. Thanks, President of ABP

Everyone was given a piece of paper with a number on it. When ALL those pieces of paper cash, then all will have been paid. Johnnyt

Nice post Johnny.

It feels weird to congratulate a promoter for actually paying the players but well...

Congrats to Barry, who proves to be more reliable than Bonus Ball after all. Bonus Ball who, by the way, has never had any trouble with the ABP for not paying the players... :D

The players have been given checks. When the checks are honored and cashed by the bank ,then the players are paid in full.Hopefully ,this second part will happen without a problem.

Thanks for coming on this forum and providing this good news. It will help immensely in squashing the rumors about getting paid.

Bravo to the APB, Barry Behrman, et al., and all those involved for keeping the 38th Annual U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship alive. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Good Job Barry. You will get the full field back next year, im sure.

Thats the funny but true part. The Bonus Ball, we never heard the ABP release statements about them not paying.

I guess its because its the greatest game ever and they just love to go play it.

considering the amount of negative .. I thought this being on the first page would be good..

Good news. Sounds like whatever formula was used should be copied in the future.

He knew he was toast if he didn't pay on time this year! Once every five years or so he has to make good or else. Now he can go back to the same old, same old next year.
Please save your sympathy for someone who deserves it.

There was a list posted right where the brackets were. First was $30,000, second was $15,000, third was $10,000.......can't remember all off the top of my head but pretty sure it was money through 64th place.
