Here is a picture of the start of this project. Have a barn that has seen it's better days, built in 1910. These are the white oak stanchions I salvaged recently for a cue project. Have enough for six to eight cues. The trees these stanchions were cut from had to be well over 100 years in age. I'm told white oak is a great playing wood. After wood has been dried and properly stabilized and turned, there will be a couple available in late March or early April at $595 each. Have a few extras I couldn't use because of small nails. Might be some nail free sections big enough for butt sleeves, grips or forearms. If anyone is interested in these I will sell a couple. Nails a little hard on cutting blade. If you have a simple design in mind for a custom order, I will be doing a couple of those.

Nice!

I heard nothing but good things about oak wood. An interesting project it seems.

Old,Old Growth White Oak!

Should be spectacular players. Working on some simple designs for these. If you have a PJ in mind, let me know the color stain, if any, and joint style, phenolic, stainless, etc., weight and shaft size. Expect delivery in April or early May. A couple cues are in the works, room for about four more.

Progress Update!

Blanks are seasoning, won't be long now. Four different designs in the works. These are going to be spectacular players when finished. Nice straight grained, old growth, white oak

One for Those That Like a Light Cue!

Some spec's, all cues are in the 18.8 oz to 19 oz range, weight adjustable up or down accept for the curly maple grip cue. It is 18.6 oz. and can not be adjusted up, only down. I love lighter weight cues, grab it before I do. Lots of interest in this one. Tips on all cues are 12.8 to 13 mm. All cues are brand new and fully warranted by Jacoby Custom Cues.

Oak Customs!

Test hit the last cue pictured a couple nights ago, the curly maple grip cue. It is a stellar player. All cues custom one of a kind. You won't see another cue like them. Oak is a terrific playing wood and Jacoby did a super job in the build.

Cocobolo Player!

Test hit the cocobolo cue, superb player as well. Get one while you can, satisfaction guaranteed!

Oak Cues!

Summertime, a great time to make a deal on a cue. Test hitting the purpleheart cue tonight. Will be putting one of these into the personal collection, so pick one fast. Three more coming this Fall with slightly different wood options.

Taking this one off the offerings for now, till the last batch gets here. I am a fan of purpleheart and coupled with the oak, it is just a great combo. Three left, one other going into my personal collection soon, don't hesitate to PM if interested.

Two Left!

Two left, the oak cue with birdseye grip going into my personal collection for now. Three more cues coming in the next 6 to 8 weeks.

Oak plays great and is often overlooked. I have an oak big pin cue and its fantastic.

Thanks Dognit for the nice comment and insight. Really hate to sell these, they are a pleasure to play. Will have seven total in a few more weeks, so guess I better let a few go. Jacoby has done a spectacular job on these cues. A special staining process was done to make the grain stand out. PM me with any questions.

Oak Beauty!

Sale pending on the curly maple grip cue. No payment made yet, so still available. Don't wait or it will be gone.

Oak Beauties!

All cues back up for sale. Need to sell a couple to finance my next project.
